I honestly don't understand the question. "Traditional" 3D? Platoon is as 3D as it can get. Mario Kart isn't stuck on a fixed path. Star Fox is. You can go in whatever direction you want in Mario Kart.
That being said, maybe you want more 3D adventure games? I dunno. Whatever you want, I'm hoping for a Star Fox game with gameplay that's a combination of Bayonetta's hack n slash gameplay and Vanquish's TPS sections when on foot. I'm also hoping for a Metroid game with a third person lock on camera. (much like that in Zelda) Also hoping for a 3D Donkey Kong game that is actually good and focuses on platforming rather than collecting.
