That being said, its obviously not gonna pass, because congress, although there is zero legal reason for this not to pass and the benefits far exceed the costs.

In regards to it not passing, it's an executive order so it could get opposed but no real vote is need to put it in effect.

That wouldn't make sense because its akin to the patriot act except less detrimental for the citizens, sure Police lose privacy, but Police are public officers who shouldn't have privacy in the first place.

Also, I'd invest in the company making the cameras
