Interesting opinions.
Winning as in having majority marketshare doesn't mean much as long as the other console is selling decently.
That being said, I feel its better for PS4 to be on top, since not only do they seem to handle being ahead better than Xbox, Sony is literally betting everything they have on the PS4, they aren't going to be able to make it as competitive as MS has with the XB1.
A desperate Xbox has the means while complacent xbox just follows the trends a la kinect. Meanwhile, a desperate Sony is more likely to go bankrupt, and while some like that concept in practice any of the big 3 going out would be bad.
Not to mention, Nintendo would get snuffed out by a solo xbox. The gaming world is already becoming more Americanized even with Sony maintaining the balance.
