Keep all side content from the original.
Same soundtrack, only orchestrated.
Main cast all voice acted.
Final Fantasy XV game engine for when you arent on the world map.
World map kept the same, only significantly updated.
Keep random encounters.
Keep "Weapon" fights.
Do not touch the Materia system. Do not touch the battle system.
And there you have it.
