Few key things you're forgetting is that when the Virtual Boy came out, Nintendo was stronger than it had been now. Add to this that Virtual Boy was such a big failure, the game was barely even out in the market before they took it off the shelf. If the Wii U was actually a bigger failure, the Wii U would have been taken off the market. On top of that, the Virtual Boy had a lot of undebateable weaknesses with its hardware (such as some of the ones others have mentioned and also red being the only color it can display). The Virtual Boy is rarely even brought up with Nintendo because of how bad it went. So how is the Wii U really any competition for being one of Nintendo's biggest failures?
