They can't do worst than Lucas did with the prequels. After all, Episode I to III are oversaturated with CGI and bumbling aliens and droids. Also, Disney seems to be doing a great job with Marvel movies so I'm confident it'll turn out alright.


Well, the prequels were indeed a hot mess, I agree with that. As for the Marvel movies; I can't help but think that Marvel franchises are more prone to the fantastic and child-like and is a better fit for a company like Disney, Star Wars relies more on narrative, characters and mythology and I don't think they can pull it off. The greatest problem to overcome for Disney though, has to be the massive expectations of such a huge and diverse fanbase, someone is bound to be disappointed no matter what happens.

Hey, I hope I'm wrong and that I'll enjoy these new movies, but my lack of faith is disturbing...
