January 2nd or 3rd I heard is the supposed end date. But Microsoft may opt to leave it at its current price if it likes the results it sees during the holidays.

Agreed. $349 is the new price, Microsoft just doesn't want to say so yet. 

As for $329, I thought that was just for black friday. Could be wrong though.
