It did so well that it made Sega a force to be felt and they are stlill around to this day. The Xbox did mediocre, but well enough to give Microsoft the greenlight to stay in the industry and release one of the most popular Western console of all time! So when people call the 64 a failure despite having bested some of histories most controversial and sought after systems, it is a little annoying and false. Stop calling it a failure! There are others systems that fit that decription, just not the N64. |
It's not a failure (it made money) and it's true that it holds a special place in my heart but... it DID get it's ass handed to it by the PS1. And when I say, handed, I mean...both hands at the same time, holding iron hammers made of barbed wire and TNT.
