Computers don't really count as being on anyone's team though.

Doesn't stop them hitting you with lightning and shells though.  Nonetheless, I had a number of races where I was the only Icy Blue person, there were 3 or 4 people on the red team and then I only got two blue CPUs thrown my way.  I assumed for a while it was because we were winning overall and the game was trying to even things up, but when I looked at the tally I realised that wasn't the case.
