Yeah, skipping out on Xenoblade X because you didn't play the first game doesn't make any sense.

I'm thinking the conflict on this new planet might lead to Zanza/Klaus and the other scientists work in creating a new universe. It seems almost anti-climatic if Earth were destroyed after being created . This would also explain the Nopons in the game. Zanza created them in the image of an alien race found on the new planet that they fled to. .
