You're not being coherent so I don't know if you're trying to say Nintendo is being profitable, or not.
Making gross profit on a product =/= profitable.
- If you sell lemonade for $2 and it costs $1 to make then you make $1 gross profit per lemonade.
- If you need to pay $100 rent and you only sold 90 lemonades, then you are not profitable.
