This DOES cut down the violence and violence with weapons in these bars drastically. Bars that allow large groups of ethnic customers have more violence, plain and simple, no two ways about it. I remember asking a manager of mine a few years ago why we didn't let some of the asian groups in, as they spent alot of money and tipped well. He told me the violence they bring with them wasn't worth it and would ruin the business. After a time I realized this was completely true. I go out often with my law abiding ethnic friends and have no problems getting into bars, it's a certain type of customer they are turning away and while they might not always get it right, in the end everyone inside is having a safer experience. Until they can find a better way to single out the trouble makers that works as well, I'm happy with it. These days everyone is so busy tripping over themselves trying to be the most politically correct, nobody wants to look like a racist, but at the same time these people are ignoring the cold hard facts. BTW I've had managers of all nationalities practice these policies, not just white guys. |
