I think it will be close, mostly because a large amount Americans consider price over value, quality, performance, and in general just about everything.
That said, I could believe that MS played their cards to early. Sony has exclusive marketing for GTAV, Far Cry 4, and an full on Exclusive in LBP3. Word of mouth on PlayStation Vue should start to stir interest as videos, and leaks start to come from the Beta community. Then they have the PlayStation Experience in early December, and I think they will be going full out on 2015 content, teasing 2016 content, and possibly talking new firmware features.
Obviously Microsoft will not take it lying down, but I do see things becoming difficult once Sony starts their push.
Stop hate, let others live the life they were given. Everyone has their problems, and no one should have to feel ashamed for the way they were born. Be proud of who you are, encourage others to be proud of themselves. Learn, research, absorb everything around you. Nothing is meaningless, a purpose is placed on everything no matter how you perceive it. Discover how to love, and share that love with everything that you encounter. Help make existence a beautiful thing.
