Earlier this month Marvel's Senior Vice President of Creative & Creator Development C.B. Cebulski teased a crossover between Marvel characters and the popular manga/anime Attack on Titan.

More information has been trickling out including that the crossover would be published in entertainment magazine BRUTUS (issue 790). Now, a bit more information has been released (it will be on stands November 15, just one day away in Japan). The story itself is now titled "Attack on Avengers" and will not only guest star the afforementioned Avengers (including Spider-Man) but the Guardians of the Galaxy will also make an appearance. Opposing our dashing heroes and invading New York City are the Attack on Titan Female Titan, Colossal Titan, Armored Titan and more.

Much of the manga/comic will be in Western hands. Though Attack on Titan creator Hajime Isayama be handling the "scenario" (basic plot); Gerardo Sandoval and Dono Sanchez Almarahandle linework and colors respectively. Tom Brevoort is listed as Editor and Jake ThomasAssistant Editor.

The comic insert will be published in English with a Japanese language translation guide.

The magazine will also have an interview with Cebulski and a preview of an Attack on Titan exhibit.

No word yet if the crossover will… uh cross over to Western shores at this time.
