Like I said, September weekly average is higher even for systems with no new software, not sure why 3DS would drop to 20k a week, what if it actually rose to 25k? That's 40k Smash week, a 15k boost.

Either scenario is possible but I just don't think 3DS would have gained enough on top of that boost it already got.

I'm guessing you're thinking of the May > June WiiU figures from MKWiiU. Problem is 3DS has never shown anything like that before.

If 3DS sales are really big then Smash really did a great job. I be surprised especially with N3ds announced. (i think 3ds sales will see a notable decline this holiday because of it)
