XY= New Generation. ORAS= Remakes. (why do some people forget about this?) Nobody should think ORAS>XY FW (around 2mil)
Those are actually really amazing numbers if you think about it. Though ORAS will not surpass these 3 games below lifetime sales (especially+obviously the first game), it is going to beat them in FW, which is definitely impressive.
ORAS: 1.00mil Pre Orders
Ruby/Sapphire: 1.27mil FW (The game its based on. Its going to beat its first week, which is funny. How many remakes can do that? :P)
FireRed/LeafGreen: 1.09mil FW [3.14mil Lifetime] (Based on Gen 1, its already practically beaten in first week sales)
HeartGold/SoulSilver: 1.44mil FW [3.96mil Lifetime] (Could be close FW, overall it did amazing and was on DS, Not to mention Gen 2)
