Because including price into a review is saying: "This game is/isn't worth the asking price".

What does including this say in a review? "We are mad that we didn't get this game before everyone else"? Why should the reader care about that? The only way this affects the reader is by not giving them the reviews alongside release, which is a problem for the people who already bought the game, but they aren't the ones who need the review anyways. The review is for the people who haven't bought the game and are curious how good the reviewer feels it is. Price makes sense to include because it is a factor of importance to the consumer who the review is aimed at...this isn't

It says: "The company has no confidence in this game, so neither should you"
