So you're saying Miyamoto has no right to state his beliefs that could possibly be controversial? He should be a cheery, brain-dead monkey who never speaks his mind in fear of judgement from his would-be "fans"?
This is the problem with popularity. You're expected to only have agreeable opinions. Dare to say anything negative/controversial and you're criticized for being human and not some god, when you never were or wanted to be to begin with.
