because it´s a risk to develop for a new plattform, they waited to see if it would perform good and because it didn´t they concentrated more on platforms where they have better sales, this industry is about money and why should they support a platfrom where they cant make money?

Ironically if all third parties "wait and see", they actively contribute to a negative feedback loop for the platform, whereas if they all take a risk at the platform's launch, they contribute to a positive feedback loop.
