Ok, wow.
I'm two hours in now, and I gotta say, if you're a Wii U owner, buy this game!
This is the sort of thing we should be supporting; high quality releases that actually put the effort into giving us the best experience they can.
It's marvellously atmospheric and cleverly designed, and in the game's context the Gamepad works well as a sort of GPS/Data Pad. It's used sensibly but subtly, never intruding on the experience.
Best eshop game so far in my book.
