Yes, they always make a profit for Q3 (which is the holiday months) even in the last few years where they have lost money overall, they made profit in Q3. 

Since they are profitable so far for the fiscal year (Q1 + Q2 combined net profit is in the black), basically the only thing that could cause them to lose money would be a disasterous Q4 (Jan-Mar) but that's fairly unlikely. Q4 would have to somehow erase all the profit from Q2 + Q3 (holiday months) combined and that's not going to happen. 

I think they will post an OK net profit of $300-$450 million for the fiscal year. Maybe not up to their usual standard (which is about $900-$1 billion in a standard year), but plenty to finance a lot more Marios/Zeldas/Bayonettas (lets hope) or to just throw into the big fat money pile they have already.
