Yes we all know that great comercial, which didn't put a dent in snes sales. Or do you come from an alternate dimension where Sega outsold nintendo, ever? As I said there was no competition for Snes, there was no real discussion between which was better. Most people either just got Snes or got both. 

Actually Sega had Nintendo on the ropes for a few years before the SNES ultimately pulled ahead and won.
