S&M can be and usually is completely consensual, and since Rodin is a friendly character in the game's universe and your fight with him essentially a sparring match, this doesn't strike me as insinuating rape. Hey, he coulda just spanked her, she does that to the baddies often enough.
And this only happens when you get hit, so just like when you die during the campaign, its essentially you the player failing to live up to her character's proper standards.
