I realized something last night: I am more of a RARE fan than Nintendo fan

DKTF is a fine game! But I never had any fun with it. Lots of potential with it though, but I am done with 2D. The Wii U and even the Wii and DS systems are saturated with 2D. Like shovelware/Party/ casual games before it, there is just too much. I want adventure back! Mario 64, Banjo, star fox, M. Sunshine, Star fox adventures, Zelda, Jet force etc were all grand adventures! I do not get that from recent games. They are games, and many are well done. But what happened to adveture gmes on Nintendo systems?

 

Shado of the colossus was an adventure! Xenoblade, despite being a jrpg, was an adventure to me.

 

I miss that.

i havent owned a nintendo system since n64 until i got wii u. i know what you mean my 64 library was full of amazing fps and adventure games

banjo, dk, goldeneye, perfect dark turok, shadowman etc etc now all nintendo games seem to be 2d which i aint a fan off.
