But anyway, I think it is an issue, but will have a different outcome. Personally, if this controversy becomes large enough, I think it will actually be the trigger for the next video game crash. We're already seeing so many signs match up from the crash in the 1980's. |
It was given the name Gamer gate because of the controversey with Zoe Quinn cheating on her boyfriend for good reviews for her game. It was debunked later that she was ever having sex for reviews by the company doing the reviews. In essence Gamergate has found someone to attack at this point even though the real corrupt people who have a history of accepting lavish invites with the expectations of good reviews are out there.
