Taylor gets a lot of hate for being a dramatic person, but frankly she has turned that into the world's most successful career so kudos to her.

I love Taylor's music, Red being my favorite album for her... but I have to say, I am not enjoying 1989 at all. I find it dull and lyrically lacking in comparison to her previous efforts. I hope she does break Britney's record though! It's about time.

I loved Red, but I really hope you give 1989 another listen. I do like Red better, but I think 4 or 5 of the songs on 1989 are some of her strongest ever. I love the album..

And yes, it's finally time for Britney to lose that record. Love Brit, but I'm astounded that the highest first week sales by a woman ever is only 1.319 million.

The only songs I'm REALLY enjoying are Blank Space and Style... This Love, I Know Places and Wildest Dreams are nice too, but I think the album contains more filler than previous albums; songs like I Wish You Would, How You Get The Girl and All You Had To Do Was Stay sound similar to each other and also to older Taylor songs. Maybe it's just me, I don't know. It's a solid pop album though, and I'm very glad that she took this risk of changing her sound completely even if the result is not what I had hoped for.
