Framerate issues that seemingly add to the feel of a game

Shadow of the Colossus on PS2 comes to mind. I remember reading somewhere that a few people felt it was better on PS2 than PS3 at times because the drops to 10fps made the colossi attacks and death scenes more.... mmm... pronounced. Or perhaps a better word would be "Impactful".
