Just calling it how I see it. I even own a PS4, but I can admit the X1 is the better console right now all around.

PS4's OS is laughably bare bones at the moment too, it can't even do things that the PS3 can, like run movie files off a USB stick.

Sony rode the hype train, just like Destiny and Watch Dogs did (two overhyped, borderline mediocre games). But hype sells.

Objectively though the PS4 library for its first year really isn't much better if at all than the PS3, which had a mediocre first year.

Once more just your opinions, you are proving nothing.

Well that's just your opinion. It proves nothing. ;)

But seriously the "proof" if you want it is that Sony themselves has said they don't understand why the system is selling so well. They know just as well as anyone who knows this business that the library as of yet is not anything great. It's comparable to the PS3's first year, maybe even slightly worse, yet it's selling far better. So it's an interesting case study I think in consumer perception and the role hype plays.
