What ridiculous? I stated Nintendo would be profitable this Quarter and they are doesn't sound ridiculous does it. How about reading the whole thing too I stated why I think it will. Smash, Ambiio's and a price drop (if it happens). I habe been constant recently on 3 things and the first one has come true.
I have stated plenty of times that PARENTS buy 5-13 year olds Nintendo and THAT IS A FACT. And now with Amiibo s Smash and Toad (because of the $40) kids and parents will want it. Its not ridiculous. But obviously im talking to someone who can't even debate me respectfully. I mean your quotes are with a guy calling pre teen of a child. So thats my last response to you Zorg

Yes, it's a fact that some parents will buy Wii U for their kids this holiday, but it is also a fact that other parents will buy Sony and Microsoft consoles for their kids as well, as the post above me has said. All three companies will be pulling out the stops to increase their sales this holiday, as they do every year. Unless something spectacular or disastrous happens (depending on anyone's point of view) PS4 is most likely to dominate worldwide this holiday season, simply because of the incredible sales momentum it has.

Just as many if not more kids tend to prefer Playstation or XBox consoles, especially as they get closer to that age of 10/11. The kids on the school yard want to play what the older kids are playing and that's what becomes "cool".

I think actually the main buying base for amiibo will initially be adult Nintendo fans. They will buy the most amiibos (multiple ones).

It's basically this:
