$220 million is their net profit for the last quarter (July-September). Net profit meaning the actual net cash gain they took home. 

I think Nintendo should make an ok sized profit this fiscal year, they almost always profit during Q3 (the holiday season), so they'd have to lose a ton of money in Q4 to somehow erase their gains from Q2 + 3.
