Whilst I agree they arent in financial trouble... your thread comes off a bit silly.

Why are you sayin holy shit to 9.7bn assets. Thats the lowest it has been for years.

They are profitable? Not yet they arent. They havent made a profit yet, quarterly or 6 monthly results are meaningless. The full year figure is what decides is they have made a profit.

If you make a profit in a quarter but make an overall annual loss you never made a profit.

I don't mean this in a rude or personal way, but your post comes off as a shade pathetic, as if its intention was less to correct misinformation and more to downplay news.

Net tangible assets:

Sony: $9.4bn

Nintendo: $9.7bn

Microsoft: $62.7bn

Make that more than a little pathetic. But I'm sure you are calm and happy while grinding that axe, so grind away....?

Didn't they have 10 billion in the bank just a couple years ago? Or am I remembering wrong?

$20 bn, actually. That was 1 or 2 years ago. I believe last time they reported, they had $14 bn. Why are they losing/using so much money? Beats me.

I don't think they ever had cash reserves that large. Are you sure about your numbers?
