Exactly. The problem is in perception.
Price was only important in the beginning of the year, when it was anyone's game. When the gap started to grow, price started to matter less because of popularity, and even by the Kinect drop it was already too late WW, and surprisingly barely affected the US.
The holiday deal is the best chance of closing if not reversing the gap in the US, its never happening worldwide, but it won't last after holidays, unless XB1 shifts its baseline significantly. But price is mattering a lot less over time.
