It sounds like the operating profit for Q2 was actually quite high because they didn't have to produce any Wii U hardware.
It's kind of sad, but Nintendo would probably be better off this gen if they simply had not made a new console at all from a financial POV and just had the 3DS.
So when they have to start producing Wii U hardware again for the holidays (Q3) that's likely going to negatively impact their operating income.
Probably why they are dropping all types of hints about a Fusion platform as that would effectively I think in a way render the "console" as just a repackaged/slightly redesigned take on their portable.
