Wii U isnt going to get close to those numbers. Even if PS4 or One do the same as there predecessors then they would each have to sell about 40 mil extra to make up the difference not gonna happen. But then again you even said in your own post that WIi U is massively down. So again its not that different from 3ds situation. If Ninty must stop doing handhelds cause they have no future there then it holds doubly true for there consoles since its doing much worse, doesnt matter that that market isnt so bad because Ninty doesnt benefit anyway |
I don't think this console gen will be down massively from last. It'll be down, but not to the degree that the handheld market is.
And just cos Nintendo screwed up with the Wii U doesn't mean future consoles couldn't possibly do better.
