Well the OP seems to not know about any PS4 AAA I mean how can you leave out Bloodborne and just mention the Order? Or LBP3? Or all of the 3rd party games? 3rd party games have always(to me anyway) played a bigger part in sells than exclusives. And I thought QB was releasing in the fall not spring? Also you made the mistake of stating that America has "always" been FPS land which is not true at all(NES/SNES/PS1/PS2 all say hello).
And a lot of people make it seem like MS has always had the US but heck it only had it with the 360 before that it was all NIN and Sony. IMO the PS4 is still beating it because it is the more "desired" console, Sony PR has been top notch. MS did not have all the advantages it has last gen to take the US. And to top it off MS came stumbling out the gate very badly. So to wonder why the PS4 is outselling the XB1 is kind of silly IMO. It would be better to ask why would it not be as others have already stated.
