You're right, they don't, but they do estimate them. I'd say with the sales data they collect from other stores they should be able to deliver a fairly accurate estimate that keeps them within 5-10% of the true numbers.

 Wait a minute, so now ioi's numbers that have 360 much higher are totally bunk, and only NPD is super accurate? Even when in the past, people have repeatedly argued and made dozens of post that in fact ioi has every right to be as accurate as NPD and that NPD should not be taken as official since they are all estimations?

 

Interesting. What a sudden change of opinions. Yesterday ioi was just as accurate as NPD. Today, only NPD is accurate. How convenient.
