No, your justification for why you think Bayonetta is not designed in bad taste is "But a few people don't think so", hence why you have tried to prove that some tiny, tiny minorities think utterly differently to most people.

But you could argue this game is degrading and warps young guys who are likely to already be somewhat socially isolated, by making them think less of women etc. From what I have seen, gamers are pretty chauvinistic when it comes to women and they do tend to opt for these fantasies over reality.

well if all it takes for them to lose their respect for women is to see a scantily clad women behaving in a provocative manner

then its a loss cause already my friend the minute they start going to clubs they're going to see the same thing

by women who choose to do so because ironically it according to them empowers them

i think it would be far more effective to simply tell people that regardless of how a woman act or dresses that you should still respect her (once she is also respectful to you) and also that her characteristics cannot be extrapolated to all other women

and that all women are individuals and unique

You have obviously never been in a club if you think they dress like that.

Fact is, it adds nothing positive to the game, so why have it in there? It holds back a lot so they should drop it.

Yea, ever found a slag who is "empowered" rather than insecure? I haven't. And no, you should respect people based on their actions. If they do something stupid and don't respect themselves, then why should anyone else?
