PS4 back to outsell PS2. Ooooh yeah baby!

I remember all the "Wii is tracking above PS2!" threads back in the day. Yes, the PS4 is selling fast but still pretty far behind the pace of the Wii in the beginning and the PS2 had several years in a row over 20 million sold.
I see no reason to think that the PS4 will outsell the PS2, we also have to consider that the PS2 kept on selling for nearly fifteen years, the PS4 will be a shadow of a memory in less than a decade.

Short version; the PS4 has no chance at outselling the PS2 and I don't think it will even come ball-park close.
