Possibly not.
If the current rate of ~120k a week/500k a month carries on up to December, that brings it to 12.3 million. Now say you make ~300k a week sales all of Christmas, that is another million sold, so looking at 13 m.
Now you could bump them up with launches pushing it to ~180k sales a week, but you are looking at shifting 5 million in the next 12 weeks........which logistically is horrific.

...The PS4 shifted over a million units in September, way over.

But that is due to game releases giving it a nice bump. Don't get me wrong, I would love the PS4 to hit 17 m by Christmas, but when you factor in games, people already owning it and many parent sstill being broke, there are a lot of factors against it at the moment.

Games have yet to be an issue that has held sales back so I am not sure why they would be during the best sales times of the year(the next 3 months). And there are "sold" according to VGCHARTZ 11.4 Mil(pending adjustments which will make it even more)  it's not like there aren't over 100 million potential customers so the people already owning it thing is kind of odd as well.  And heck people have been borke all year long so that really is kind of not a strong point either. And heck many parents have so you think over the next 3 months it will only sell 1.6 mil? That would be HORRIBLE sales wise it will EASILY sell WAY MORE than 1.6 million for the rest of year.
