But that is due to game releases giving it a nice bump. Don't get me wrong, I would love the PS4 to hit 17 m by Christmas, but when you factor in games, people already owning it and many parent sstill being broke, there are a lot of factors against it at the moment.

You're really underestimating the holidays it seems. 17 million definitely isn't given or something but it's not out of the cards either.
