If 3DS is dead, then all dedicated console gaming is dead since the dead 3DS is the top selling system of this generation.
Also what exactly does "Nintendo should become a Google second party" mean anyway? Nintendo makes way more money than Google does when it comes to gaming. How would it benefit Nintendo to become a second party of a company that manufactures an OS for other carriers? I don't really see any business advantage here. That's like saying Nintendo should become a second party for Windows PC, except worse.
