It's a big button that hacks whatever he points the camera at. You can see it ingame but here is a shot from the trailer

So basically his "hacking" is just a giant WIN button? Can we come up for a more fitting name for him then? I feel like that's a disrespect to real hackers.

It's actually the most realistic depiction of modern "hacking" I have seen in a game. 99% of "hackers" are just script kiddies that download a program select a target and press a button.
