I think most people find that a faster character tends to dominate more thoroughly than the slower and more powerful characters.
for the 4 way brawls, heavier characters can really do well, but if you have someone with a faster character that knows how to dodge and how to target higher damage characters, that won't be certain, but when it comes to 1 on 1, the lighter characters still have the advantage, not as much as it had been in melee, but it's still there.
