Well Crysis for its time period was not a bad shooter. I'm more of a console gamer and that game is tailored for the PC games much like Far Cry usd to be. I like console games more. The reason I have a gripe with Cyrtek is because they are trying to bring their unmotivated style to the console realm which demands a fresher approach. They are bound to the old PC realms of graphical surpremacy when it comes to shooters and they are half the reason for that dull stigma. I can understand your point about Quantic Dream. They really are trying to be different but my gripe with them is really about their case in thinking that graphics and emotion have everything to to do with capturing true emotion when more games that had lesser graphics (including Last of Us, Lost Odyssey, Sotc) made me shed a tear faster than any of their games.

Yep, they remind me of Guerrilla Games with Killzone franchise. Although as stated by CGI this topic is about graphics and shiny shaders.

The problem with Guerilla Games is that they actually listened to the fans. When Killzone 2 was created they had the recipe for a masterpiece that was different and all their own. Fans destroyed that because everyone was putting it up against Halo.

I'd actually contend that fan feedback was what allowed KZ3 to break free of the problems that plagued KZ2, but that's veering off topic a bit.
