That is what you and a few other XB1 fans are missing. We dont care THAT much about 1080p, we prefer it but its the principle behind the whole thing. And its not "petty". They did the same thing for Watchdogs (although they did not state it was for parity, they said it was because they could not get the performance they wanted at 1080p) and it did fine, but the big difference was WD was a late may release and people really had no other options. |
No, you miss the point. We understand why this bothers people. But it won't have a significant impact on sales.
Again, you said the X1 version will probably sell about the same as the PS4 version. That shows you're out of touch with the average consumer. Parity doesn't matter that much, especially if the product is still impressive.
Destiny is the best selling PS4 game and it was likely designed to have parity with the X1 version.
