Yep, PS4 version of AC4 got bumped to 1080p after launch.

Well that was just a few days after launch. There hasn't been patch to improve resolution since then.

I'm not talking about a console patch.  PS4 hasn't needed fixes like making Kinect optional to give more GPU power to games; it already gave the power.
