Don't worry about the CoD deal. Its not like MS is struggling because of it. They still report profits last I checked.
Sony was hemorraging money with the PS3 early on. But they took the risk early on so they could make money later on from software and subscriptions. That's generally how it goes with consoles. MS should have done the same with X1 to stay competitive. That was my opinion, no need to argue if you disagree because I'm sticking with it.
Spending money on better hardware was a great suggestion before the hardware was produced. My opinion is for when the specs were final.
