I also don't want companies to gimp games coming to my console, just cause the other console isn't quite up to snuff. MS could definitely take a lesson from Sony on this, as they never got companies to reach for parity, even with a huge sales gap. Of course, back then, a lot of games were only coming out on the PS2, so you had a much better library. Now, the games library is almost identical, except for exclusives published by MS or Sony, so why not get the better looking ones? And if you're going to redicule a fanbase liking graphics, as well as gameplay, why complain about gimped ports? It's just graphics, after all. The games still play the same. Seems kinda like a double standard there. |
So it's okay to be graphically inferior when it's a Sony console, but not when Microsoft do it?
