Why don't you list out the differences yourself to see if it amounts to anything meaningful ... 

They share base modes (the defaults for Smash series) and characters. Everything else down to controls, stages and graphics (and bonus modes are 100% different. You've been here a while and you're not that inconsiderate to facts. The 3DS isn't your tournament console, it's the Wii U. Which will be the definitive way to play the game.
