i dont have brawl (UK :( ) but going by my melee knowledge i found that "cheaper" characters were simply the characters that were easier to used to and get decent with when first starting, but once you have got good you are able to overcome any of this spamming and it becomes there demise as they are predictable. its all abot calculating.
